CHINESE BRONZE VASE W/ DRAGON RELIEF, 19TH C. A Chinese bronze vase with dragon relief, dating from the 19th century. Globular base tapers to a long, slender neck, to the mouth. Multiple bands of design surrounding the body, with one wider band featuring 12 roundel dragon designs. Spearlike designs on neck, facing upwards and downwards.

Condition: Good condition overall for age and use. Small spot of slight oxidation on one part of the body.

A CHINESE BRONZE VASE WITH FRONTAL FACING DRAGON 19th century or earlier, a bulbous shaped vase with wide neck and mouth, finely cast with detailed auspicious motifs such as qilin, bats, foo lion, and a frontal facing dragon with five claws to lower feet, Buddhist treasure symbols encircle the neck, lotus leaf band with key motif decorate the lower neck and upper body, lion head faux handles flank the neck, with wide mouth, has scattered touches of gilt to surface.
