Other Notes: Judge Mitchell King (1783-1862) was a Scottish immigrant who became one of Charleston South Carolina's leading and wealthiest citizens. In the 1820s he built a summer home in Flat Rock North Carolina. It was at this estate named ''Argyle '' that he spent his final days. Stems/bases with even patination and one column slightly crooked. Well-matched near pair of replacement shades that are of different sizes.
