Note: The 1932 New York Yankees were the first major league baseball team to play an entire season without being shut out. PRINCESS MARTHA HOTEL PLATE ST. PETERSBURGRare plate from the Hotel Mason, St. Petersburg, Florida. Measures 8-3/4" diameter and is in excellent, undamaged condition. What makes this piece so scarce is that the Hotel Mason existed for a total of two years -- from 1924-1926 -- and while it was popular enough to have hosted such VIPs as Babe Ruth, it fell into bankruptcy and closed down. When it reopened, it was named The Princess Martha, which still exists today as an active senior adult living facility.
