Collection of Four Black-Man Items, consisting of a rare polychromed tin "Alabama Coon Jigger" automaton of a dancing black youth, first quarter 20th century, h. 10"; "Black Sambo", a polychromed cast-iron mechanical bank, fourth quarter 19th century, in the original polychromy and still containing coins, h. 6-1/2"; a good, small carved meerschaum and amber lady's pipe featuring a Blackamoor's head, also fourth quarter 19th century, l. 4"; and a carved and turned mahogany dice cup modeled as a top-hatted black man's head, still containing a pair of antique dice, h. 4-1/2".
