Jean Paul Hubbard (American, 1917-1997;Jean Paul Hubbard (American, 1917-1997; Active Louisiana) "Mountainous Desert Landscape", 1962, oil on canvas, 32" x 51", signed lower right "Jean Paul Hubbard", signed "Hubbard" (in two places) and dated on canvas verso. Presented in a carved, stained and parcel-gilt frame. Hubbard, an African American impressionist painter, was the head of the Southern University Fine Arts Department.
