- C. 1912 BRUNSWICK-BALKE-COLLENDER POOL
C. 1912 BRUNSWICK-BALKE-COLLENDER POOL TABLEThe lot features an original Brunswick-Balke-Collender pool table dating to circa 1912, in original condition. The pool table is either a Richelieu, Homewood, Coreno, or The Reno model. The table shows four large rectangular legs with a thin white line inlay matching the rectangular shape on all four sides of each leg. The sides are at an angle and show three inlaid sections at the long sides and a single inlaid section at each end. The top edge is squared off with heavy thick original leather pockets and a mother of pearl like inlaid diamonds along the top edge. Brunswick Balke Collender manufactured some of the finest large mercantile and gaming cabinets and tables. The top is inlaid with "The Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. Monarch Cushions". The table shows cast iron original Brunswick swing out pool cue chalk holders on the end. One end shows the original gold label with the Patent dates with the last patent date being May 7, 1912. The table presumably has the original slate, but not confirmed. Nice condition for its historic age. The table has been professionally dissembled for easier transport and shipping.*
