both with patina, oxidation and corrosion to metal components, dents, scratches and handling wear to wooden components, bores with corrosion, English gun with composition repair around lock plate, barrel tang cutdown, heavy pitting and corrosion to metal around hammer, losses to edges of wood at forend, 3-1/2 in. crack in wood at grip, possible composition gun, Norwich musket trigger functions, trigger on other gun doesn't function

ALLEN AND THURBER PEPPERBOX. Norwich model .36 caliber 5'' barrel cluster with flat ribs and 1837 date scroll-engraved frame and nipple shield walnut grips. Gray-brown patina on the barrel cluster traces of bluing on the frame bores fairly clean action a little sticky repair to the grips.

MAYNARD SPORT CARBINE. This model has a 20'' round to octagon style barrel in .40 caliber. Front sight flips from hood to ivory bead rear sight is a flip type deep ''V'. Marked on left side of frame ''Edward Maynard Patentee May 27 1851 Dec. 6 1859''. Beside this is stamped in larger font ''1873''. Below pistol grip ''1865'' and S/n. 24277 at base of lower tang. The checkered pistol grip is attached to the lever not the stock. Great rifleing in a clean chambered bore. Barrel retains some finish stock has some scratches and stains on varnish.
