A PAIR 33-INCH SEVRES FLOOR VASES SIGNED T. QUENTINThe large, late 19th century pair with hand painted oval reserves signed T. Quentin on cobalt ground are mounted with gilt bronze handles having ladies heads each side and high arching acanthus scrolls that enter the vase mouth opening and extend downward, precluding the possibility of a cover ever having fit that space. Each socle standard, on square gilt bronze base with canted corners and bolted-on decorative castings, is centered by a stout spindle to accommodate the upper portion. Each vase bears the underglaze celeste blue Sevres factory mark of interlaced L's inside the mouth of the vase, and underside of each base as well. Circa 1880.Each measures 33.5 x 17.5 x 11.5 inches.Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to either in any way. Each does exhibit heavy wear as shown.

Dimensions sterling caraft measures approx. 6 1/2" in height. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
