CHINESE BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN CHRYSANTHEMUM VASE Antique Chinese large porcelain ceramic vase of begonia form, hand-painted with blue and white decoration comprised of scrolling foliate design with chrysanthemums between wave borders, two molded ruyi or si bat shape handles with rings, apparently unmarked, Ming style or perhaps Qianlong. 18.25" H x 16" diameter. Provenance: Property from the Manhattan estate of Indrani Yogasundram who lived in many different countries with her husband, Yogaraj, during his decades-long career as a Sri Lankan diplomat. In addition to the heirloom jewelry she possessed, Indrani acquired jewelry, art, and ornaments while stationed in China (1960-63), Sri Lanka (1963-65), and Iraq (1965-1967).
