Lumen Watson Cincinnati clock, tall highly figured cherry case with broken arch pediment, poplar secondary, mahogany veneered door and inset tombstone panel on base, shaped skirt and feet, arched and painted wooden dial, gilt spandrels and painted basket of flowers and pulled pink curtain, signed "L Watson, Cincinnati", interior door with inscriptions including "Frank Hanley(?) October 9, 1853", inside of door with compass work crescent moon, back painted "C.F.B. Co 1933", Ohio, 19th century, with period pendulum and small lead weights, 91 x 18 x 9 in. Dial with cracks and minor paint losses, original saddle board (appears to be good match), case with old refinishing (traces black paint on hood molding, back of hood pediment and feet), hood pediment appears to be original with later blocking, later brace to back of central hood element.
