Brass triggerguard iron backstrap checkered wood grips. Comes with original Civil War leather holster. Revolver has an old tag that states Charles Crandall of Binghamton New York. Condition: All metal is gunmetal grey with some staining and pitting; shows use. Original grips have been checkered over. Triggerguard has a nice untouched patina. The holster shows use and leather is supple with some cracking and crazing.

Backstrap and triggerguard retain all of the silver-plated finish with some of it bumbling up on the backstrap and thinning. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some gone on the high lines. A very nice untouched Colt revolver.

Condition: All markings are sharp and crisp. Revolver appears to be an old arsenal refinish with a blued frame. Cylinder frame backstrap and barrel show some iridescence of blue bleeding through the brown patina. Nice untouched patina on the triggerguard. Grips are nice and untouched with some nicks and dings.
