Model 1808 Contract Jenks FlintlockModel 1808 Contract Jenks Flintlock Musket .69 caliber 44.625'' round barrel marked on top of barrel in an oval at breech P TW. Lockplate marked Jenks RI 1812 at the rear of plate; under the pan is an eagle with US in the talons. Flat-style lockplate with rounded pan flat hammer. Walnut stock with three barrel bands. Condition: All metal has been lightly cleaned to bright with some light staining and pitting. There is some pitting around the touch hole. Stock is excellent. Very sharp and crisp musket.
A. WATERS MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCKA. WATERS MODEL 1836 FLINTLOCK PISTOLAn extremely nice US Model 1836 single shot flintlock pistol, dated 1841, with exceptionally clear martial marks on lock, stock, and barrel. The barrel is marked US over JH over P, and two oval cartouches are clearly visible on the stock. Dimensions: 14 inches long overall, with the barrel being 8.5 inches long. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $32.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Condition:
Very good, with staining on the barrel and mounts, but no abuse or wear. There is a small crack just in front of the lock, and a couple of minor scratches. The lockplate is dark, but the markings are exceptional. The screw on the cock is possibly a replacement. There is minor pitting above the vent hole, and at the muzzle.
