Large French Porcelain Covered Two-Handled Vase, fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century, the gilt-lacquered brass-mounted vase in the Louis XVI Sevres style, the fond jaune ground with a facade reserve of fleeing lovers offered a libation by a putto on the wing, the reverse with a bucolic river scene illegibly signed lower right, the interior of the cover with the overglaze sky-blue pseudo-Sevres interlaced L's mark centering the date letter "A" over a pseudo-Sevres date oval for 1841 and the word "France", h. 29", dia. 12".
