An early stroboscopic study of a pitcher's motion when throwing a baseball. Pencil-signed and numbered (23/ 50) to the reverse of the sheet, with a photocopy of the signature affixed to the reverse of the frame. The glazed frame measures 19" x 23". Harold "Doc" Edgerton was an MIT professor whose experimental photography merged the artistic process with science and discovery.
