It retains all of the restoration quality finish and the stocks are excellent. The metal surfaces with the exception of some pitting on the bottom of the barrels at the breech are smooth with crisp markings. This is an attractive and affordable American double gun.

The shotgun features two 30" Damascus steel barrels with a simple bead sight on a lightly engraved receiver with checkered walnut furniture. The shotgun does appear to have seen extensive use with some slight dings throughout as well as evidence of extensive repair to the main grip, and the toe of the stock has a large chip missing.
