(2) plates bear different English hallmarks stamped verso, (1) plate bears partial Irish hallmarks stamped verso, and (5) plates bear illegible partial English hallmarks stamped verso. (7) plates are etched verso with what are believed to be inventory numbers. Each plate bears the House of Cholmondeley coat of arms with a coronet, supported by a griffin and a wolf, with the Latin motto below "Cassis Tutissima Virtus" (Virtue is the Safest Helmet), and the Latin motto "Tria juncta in uno" (Three Joined In One) central. The First English Silver plate bears a city mark of London, maker's mark of John Parker II? or John Prosser?, and a date letter of 1806. The second English silver plate bears a city mark of London, maker's mark of Daniel Piers, and a date letter of 1756. This coffee pot features well executed floral and scroll work throughout, a tremendous figural true to life phoenix head spout over a figural bust most surely depicting Brian Borul (Brian Boruma mac Cennetig), acorn finial and a wood handle, flanked on both sides with central cartouche (1) depicting an engraved red stag the other blank, and a wood scroll handle. With a City mark of Dublin, Maker's mark of William Nolan, and a date stamp of 1823. Total approx. weight is 34.85 troy oz (gross). From a Manhattan, NY estate. This basket features a gadroon border with three-dimensional shells encompassed by acanthus leafs, a collective of fruits atop a textured crescent scale field terminating in a scalloped edge, flanked on all sides with central scroll armed cartouche (2) blank and (2) engraved with chased scalloped shells, and an articulated handle with a gadroon border, central monogrammed scroll arm cartouche flanked on both sides by flowers amongst leaves. Stamped with a city mark of Dublin, a maker's most surely a maker's mark of Edward Crofton, and a date letter of 1818. the Total approx. weight of the basket is 47 troy oz (gross).
