A CHINESE CYLINDRICAL VASE the porcelain Jingdezhen circa 1720, enamelling added in Holland, circa 1725-30, of rouleau form, with short trumpet neck, decorated all over with carved lotus scroll pattern under the glaze and with brown glazed rim, the decoration in the Kakiemon style, a maned dragon alternating with a phoenix above a flowering branch on each side, scrolling chrysanthemum foliage in turquoise and three gilt flowers, on a red ground around the shoulder, the neck with two flowering branches, 27.5cm high

A Pair of Chinese Porcelain Mirror Image Vases Finely Enameled by Liu Yucen (1904-1969) Jing De Zheng Porcelain Factory Republic Period Thinly potted of elongated baluster form footed vase tapered neck with flared rim opening. Finely painteded by Liu Yucen with birds perching on blooming trees accented with black borders at the neck shoulders and base. Inscribed with "The scenery in March the most beautiful" singed and sealed by the artist on the side. Stamped in iron red seal with Chinese characters that read " Jing De Zheng Zhi" on the bottom. Measures apprx. 8-1/8"T.
