A Set of Twelve Months of the Year Kinkozan Satsuma Plates Japanese 20th Century Finely decorated in polychrome each depicting one of the twelve months of the year featuring each month with different figures each with a different kimono and surrounding trees or flowers. Painted on soft white ground with fine gilt edge impressed mark with pigment and gilt on the underside also marked on the underside with the abbreviation for the month in gilt.

A Set of Monumental Satsuma "Four Seasons" Vases Slightly squat vases with flared rim on a short neck over wide shoulders raised on a circular foot. Finely hand painted in polychrome with gilt highlights over creamy background depicting the different seasons of the year; brown bands around shoulders/neck and foot with gilt design. Underside signed with gold-tone characters within a red color cartouche. Each measures apprx. 11-3/4"T x 11-1/2"D at the widest point.

A Fine Japanese Four-Case Inro Signed Jokasai of rounded rectangular form with the main panels decorated with parrots amongst cages containing various accoutrements the perimeter of the case having raised and gilt decoration of scrolling clouds having a three-character mark at the bottom left having a mixed metal and ivory manju netsuke of a dancing figure and a carved stag antler ojime of geese in flight.
