Kenneth Harris (American, 1904-1983) was born in Pennsylvania but settled in Norfolk in 1949 after perfecting his craft as a watercolorist in Galveston, Texas, and Wilmington, North Carolina. He remained in Hampton Roads for the rest of his life, becoming one of the region's most celebrated and beloved artists. His work has been exhibited in the Chrysler Museum of Art.
