The suit signs comprising a red chalice with a heart in the chalice, a black pike head, an orange topaz cut in a diamond shape, and a green clover leaf. The court cards correspond to England, France, Spain and Portugal. The Aces of chalices, topazes, and clover are in oval cartouches decorated with a miter, crozier and croos, a winged hat, caduseus and trident, a wreath and farm tools.

1920'S HOLLYWOOD FANTASY TWO PART SECRETARY1920'S HOLLYWOOD FANTASY TWO PART SECRETARY "Spanish Colonial" Drop Front Desk in painted wood and plaster, with hand forged and corroded iron fixtures, the upper cabinet in the form of Gothic entablatures, featuring Madonna and Child with ranks of Saints. At the top are medallions of Kings and Queens, centered on a heraldic seal surrounded by three angels. Rendered in gilt cast plaster over brown painted split hinged panels, concealing a brown painted interior in matching brown. The lower cabinet houses three small drawers with the same decoration, concealed by a hinged writing surface that folds out to rest on pull out supports and has a wine-colored velour writing surface with domed brass nail edging. The lower case holds three full width deep drawers, all with iron pulls, having matching iron lifts on the sides of the case. The corners have twisted columns, the entirety resting on bold ball and claw feet. 76" tall overall (37" & 39"), 38" x 13 1/2". Some loss to plaster and paint.
