[Klipstein 96]. provenance: Private Collection, Maryland. Framed, matted. Not examined out of frame. There appears to be some toning to the sheet along with evidence of mat burn. Sheet is rippled within mat. There is a tiny thread-like white mark in the black of the sky to the left of the main figure''s head. There are also two areas (to the left of the figure near top edge of image) that may or may not be intended by the artist. One spot is approximately 1/4 in. in diameter and appears to be a darker black circle- this area appears to have some depth to it. The other area is an oblong shape, outlined in a darker black (approximately 1/2 in. long). Possible pooled ink? There are also areas where dirt (?) has collected beneath glass of the frame. The mat also appears to be toned.
