LEFEVER SIDE BY SIDE DOUBLE-BARREL SHOTGUN, 12 GA A Lefever Arms manufactured side-lock double barrel shotgun in need of some work. The firearm features 30-inch-long barrels with a solid rib with a single steel bead sight mounted to a case hardened frame with checkered walnut furniture and plastic buttplate. The shotgun breaks open with no issues, the safety can be moved into either position. The hammers are not cocked on breaking the action open and neither does the extractor extend, however. LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN, .410 GA A small bore side-by-side shotgun produced by the Lefever Arms Co. of Ithaca, New York. The shotgun features two 26" barrels with blued finish on a case hardened receiver, bearing engravings of a goose in flight on either side with checkered walnut handguard and buttstock, which is fitted with rubber recoil pad. The righthand barrel has an improved cylinder fixed choke while the left hand barrel has a full choke. All serial numbers are matching. Overall good condition with some surface rust to the bottom of the receiver. BBL: 26", OAL: 42", S/N: 292466, Caliber: .410 GA.

Double-Barrel Percussion Pistol by P. Vallee of Philadelphia .60 cal. smoothbore 7'' round double barrels silver line inlaid at breech. Back-action percussion locks left lock is engraved Phila in script; right side engraved P. Vallee in script. Iron triggerguard with pineapple finial and iron ramrod ferule; German silver escutcheons and butt-cap. Finely figured wood stock with checkered handle. This pistol was featured on page 11 in the AS of AC Exceptional Arms Magazine that was published in 2003. They list it as ''Vallee a French emigrant settled in Philadelphia in 1826 on the corner of 2nd and Walnut streets and opened a shop in the three-story building that eventually became the John Krider gunshop. It was also exhibited at the National fireams museum.'' A very fine and rare example of an American-made percussion pistol. (See Exceptional Arms AS of AC Dec. 2003 page 11.) Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp. The barrels still retain light brown twist pattern turning grey. Breech plugs have a nice untouched dark patina. Locks and hammers evenly match the breech plugs. Stock has untouched dark patina.

*Austrian Ferlach Double-Barrel Shotgun .20 ga. 26" barrels choked IC/Mod S/N 1143. Automatic ejectors walnut checkered stock with Monte Carlo cheek piece walnut checkered beavertail fore end. Receiver features fabulous scroll engraving with deeply relief engraved game scenes including pheasants in flight on left panel grouse on right panel and a duck in flight on the bottom. The triggerguard is elaborately engraved with florals and scrolls and features a castle in the center oval. Condition: Excellent condition with excellent bores.? It retains most of its original barrel blue with only some thinning at the breech end of the barrels from carry wear.?The wood is excellent.?This is a fine gun which is ready for the field.?Buy this gun for far less money than a comparable example would cost to produce today.

- DOUBLE BARRELED PISTOL, GOLD PLATED
DOUBLE BARRELED PISTOL, GOLD PLATED A gold-plated, double barreled, percussion-lock pistol evidently manufactured in Germany. While no exacty manufacturers mark can be found over the chambers of the two barrels is written in German "Ich wurde verfertiget auf Marienschlos Greb." Beyond the writing the octagon-to-round barrels are engraved with floral patterns down the rib between them as well as some scales engraved around the muzzles. The trigger guard and pommel are also gold-plated with a sunburst engraved onto the trigger guard. The wood furniture has fine wrap-around checkering on the grip as well as some spirals carved along the channel for the ramrod. The pistol is in overall alright condition with some wormholes throughout the wooden furniture, a large crack just behind the left lockplate, and heavy corrosion in both chambers. Only the left hammer engages with its sears while the right hammer pivots freely.
