Comprised of a female and male figure intently staring at one another both standing on a naturalistic ground holding a central shallow oval basket, with gilt highlights throughout. Incised HADLEY to the top of base edge. The underside of base with purple Royal Worcester stamp along with incised numbers. 9" H x 11" L x 7 1/2" W. 2nd item: Royal Worcester sweetmeat dish after original model by James Hadley in the Kate Greenaway style. Comprised of a male figure sitting on a tree trunk on a naturalistic ground with his left leg resting on a shallow oval basket, incised HADLEY below one foot. The underside of base with purple Royal Worcester stamp along with incised numbers. 8 1/2" H x 7" L x 6 1/2" W. Both items last quarter of 19th century.
