Beside this is stamped in larger font ''1873''. Below pistol grip ''1865'' and S/n. 24277 at base of lower tang. The checkered pistol grip is attached to the lever not the stock. Great rifleing in a clean chambered bore. Barrel retains some finish stock has some scratches and stains on varnish.
