TWO AMERICAN MANTEL CLOCKS. First half 19th century. An Elisha Hotchkiss wooden works clock, mahogany veneer case, stenciled cornice and half pilasters, and mirrored lower tablet. Wooden painted face and retains original label. Refinished and replaced mirror. 31.5" h. 16.25"w. 4.75"d. and a Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hallow triple decker clock. Ogee cornice, half pilasters over sleigh fronts. Reverse painted tablets of "Hudson St., N.Y." and an American eagle. Painted tin face, brass works and partial label, Some wear and loss and flaking to tablet reverse paintings.

A previous estate appraisal identified his clock as Bauerle however we see no marks or signatures. There is a serial number ''141707.'' From a Scarsdale NY estate. Dimensions: 24'' wide x 14.75'' deep x 95'' high. Condition: Original weights and pendulum; minor bumps and bruises; missing knob for top door; missing small block under center finial.

TWO ANTIQUE MANTEL CLOCKS Ansonia 6¼" deep x 9" wide x 10½" tall Wood case 6 ¼" thick x 17"wide x 12 ?" tall Both clocks have brass skeleton movements that strike every half and on the hour. The ansonia is an iron case the other is wooden with cast tacked on accents. The Ansonia dial is paper, readable but faded. Runs and strikes, but needs clean and
adjustment. The wooden case"s movement is not maker identified. It is different in that it has a bell for half hour strike. Runs and chines, but would benefit from cleaning. Dial
and bezel seem to be replacements.
