Underglaze blue crossed sword marks with Arabic numbers below and impressed E 153 to undersides. 10 1/2" H. Circa 1823. 3rd item: Porcelain inkwell, the bisque lid comprised of a figural scene with woman holding a child atop a dog, pitcher with spilled glass and ball beside them and a fence with foliage behind them. Inkwell is glazed with gilt scroll design and removable bisque-bottomed well and sander. Impressed mark S & S. 6" H. Continental, Mid 19th century. (Higher-resolution photos are available at www.caseantiques.com) Condition: Loss of gilding to snakes, regilding to other trim on vases. On inkwell, child's hand is missing and there is a repaired chip to the woman's hat; pitcher is missing its handle. Light wear to gilding.

Meissen vase with gilt accents, marked underside, 8" h.; five plates, polychrome floral sprays, 19th C. French marks for Rihouet verso, minor wear to gilt rims, 8 1/2" dia. [Louis Marie François Rihouet (French, b. 1791) was a Paris based porcelain decorator. He retired from business in 1853 and sold his business to Charles Lerosey which continued under the brand Rihouet Lerosey until 1910.]
