Van Buren", discussing a recent trip to England, specifically a visit to Lord Byron's former estate, and Thanksgiving plans. (Prior to her marraige to Lucius Polk, Miss Eastin was romantially involved with one of the sons of Martin Van Buren; that son -probably Major Abraham Van Buren- is likely the author of this letter). Undated. Written on both sides of a single piece of paper, creased along the middle. Housed in a wooden frame painted black. Sight - 9" H x 14 1/2" W.
