Thread sewn and beaded overlay on cradle cover, hood with weavers and fringed on back. 12 3/4" H x 6 1/2" at widest point. 2nd item: Stitched awl case, possibly Crow, comprised of rawhide and beaded in yellow, red, cobalt with beaded flap and leather strap. 8 1/4" H x 3/4" W. Late 19th century. Provenance: Property from the estate of Dorothy Louise Luhrs, PhD, (1910-1972), Archaeologist with University of New Mexico/School of American Research Field School, whose studies and research included the Una Via Chaco Canyon, NM, Largo Canyon, NM, Guatemala, Mexico, and the Hoopa Indian Reservation in northern California.
