Pride of Holland Patent, NY (Oneida Co.), listed in the 1898 Naturalists Directory (page 153) as a paleontologist and geologist with a special interest in Indian artifacts. Some of the items are labeled or written on, one polisher (the one in this lot) bears an old 1890s label indicating that the piece was found by Pride on a particular farm.
