Grips are excellent. Marble finished cardboard box is in excellent condition E. Remington & Sons flask is excellent retaining most of the original lacquered finish. Mold and loader are excellent.

Engraving on cylinder faint.

Condition: Barrel is sharp and crisp with traces of blue finish. Cylinder scene is excellent and the cylinder has a nice brown patina. Frame is a silvery grey. Grips are excellent.

Remington Beals 2nd Model Pocket Percussion Revolv .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 177. Blued finish with etched cylinder checkered gutta percha grips. Pictured on page 90 of Remington's First Revolvers by Charles Schif (2007). One of seven known with the etched cylinder. Condition: Barrel retains 70% of the original blue finish which is thinning. Frame is vry sharp with nice light patina. Cylinder is very sharp and crisp showing all of the original etched panel. Grips are excellent.

Two-line New York barrel address with seraph brackets; brass backstrap and triggerguard; walnut grips. Condition: Barrel has a soft brown patina. Frame is grey-to-brown with some light pitting. Cylinder is grey with some pitting and the cylinder scene is very dim. Wedge is a replacement. Grips have some varnish with some nicks and dings; some scuffing.

Boxed Remington Beals lst Model Percussion Revolver .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 67. Blue finish with gutta percha grips. Wood grain-style cardboard box with starred flask brass mold and loader. Condition: Barrel and frame retain 95% of the blue finish. Cylinder has about 80% of the blue finish with the rest turning plum. There are three dings in the cylinder. Silver finish on the triggerguard has oxidized to black. Hammer retains most of the vivid case colors. The out-curved pawl arm has most of the blue finish. The flask has ''JH 376'' on a decal. Starred flask mold and loading tool are excellent. One of the better sets.

Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver .44 cal. 8'' round barrel S/N 132792. Iron backstrap brass triggerguard sub-inspectors' marks on the cylinder backstrap barrel triggerguard. All numbers match except the wedge which is unnumbered. One-piece walnut grips. Condition: All markings are sharp and crisp. Revolver appears to be an old arsenal refinish with a blued frame. Cylinder frame backstrap and barrel show some iridescence of blue bleeding through the brown patina. Nice untouched patina on the triggerguard. Grips are nice and untouched with some nicks and dings.

Condition: Entire revolver is covered in a nice untouched brown mixing with pitting. Cylinder scene is visible. Grips still retain some varnish with some nicks and dings. Loading lever has an old blacksmith repair that was done during the period of use.
