A GERMAN BLACK FOREST JUGENDSTIL MIXED METAL AND OAK RE...A GERMAN BLACK FOREST JUGENDSTIL MIXED METAL AND OAK REGULATOR WALL CLOCK, SCHLENKER KIENZLE, SCHWENNINGEN, CIRCA 1908, in the French Art Nouveau taste, the bell for arched crest with relief wilting poppy issuing serpentine leaves, flanked by narcissus blooms on leafy stems, pierced whiplash curves frame the wide beveled glazed door opening to reveal a copper, brass and nickel finish of buzzing dragonflies and lotus blossoms face, an enameled Arabic numeral dial with dual escapement and flame for gilt brass hands, the clockworks marked with a winged spoke wheel trademark and number factory number 592123, the chime mounted to case with a Neoclassical relief of Euterpe, the muse of poetry issuing swirls upholding the logo wings and "DGMS" patent number 119709 below, hung with a gridiron pendulum swinging in an open space, above a suspending bellflower bloom with three anthers within high and low relief tendrils and leaves.
