BRITISH REGENCY PERIOD OLD SHEFFIELD PLATETwo very good pieces of early 19th century British Regency Period 'Old Sheffield Plate' tableware, consisting of a fine & relatively rare circular entrée dish-on-stand, the dish fitted with a conforming domed lid inset with a sterling silver 'let-in' plaque bearing an engraved coat of arms, resting within a separate wire work base fitted to receive a burner (absent). Dimensions, 11" high x 11" diameter. Together with an unusually large master salt cellar on paw feet together with an associated silver plated master salt spoon (minor pitting & rubbing), measuring 4" diameter.
