- USS PALOMAS INTERNATIONAL STERLING
USS PALOMAS INTERNATIONAL STERLING BREAD PLATEInternational Sterling H575 bread plate with the engraving U.S.S. PALOMAS on the top. The Palomas was a two-masted steel schooner/yacht built in 1922. It was purchased by the US Navy in World War II and outfitted to be an armed patrol boat. It served until the end of the war and was sold as scrap shortly after the war ended.
