This is a beautiful early 20th century Royal Doulton vase, decorated with a pastoral scene of a farmer and his dog, sowing seeds near sunset. A spectacular colorway with subtle shades of purple, pink, orange and naturalistic colors. The artist, Harry Allen, is associated with many of Doulton's most famous series. Gilt decoration to base. Stamped ROYAL DOULTON.
