Condition
Each with wear and expected losses, some crazing and staining, scattered nicks. One sauce tureen with a small crack to the base. The stands heavily stained. Four lunch plates with chips, one broken and reglued, a few more heavily stained and two with hairline cracks. Four dinner plates with rim chips, two with cracks. Three soup plates with rim chips and one with a hairline crack. Otherwise in good condition. Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.

10 ASSORTED CHINESE EXPORT CANTON PORCELAIN DINNERWARE ...1st item: Soup tureen with boar head handles and helmet feather finial. 8 7/8" H x 14" W x 8 5/8" D. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Square tureen with artichoke finial. 6" H x 9 3/4" W x 8 1/2" D. Early 20th century. 3rd-10th items: Eight (8) plates, including one (1) large platter, one (1) deep platter, one (1) medium platter, one (1) deep rectangular dish, and four (4) dinner plates. Ranging in size from 6 3/4" H x 8 3/4" W to 14 1/2" H x 17 1/2" W. Late 19th century.
Condition:
1st item: Soup tureen with old repaired breaks, visible under blacklight inspection primarily to lid and finial, with some restoration overpaint flaking to the underside of the lid. 2nd item: Tight spidering hairline to underside; minute loss to glaze of finial. 3rd-10th items: Scattered minor fleabites to rims. Large platter with minor scattered surface wear to well. Deep rectangular dish with minute losses to corners. Dinner plates with scattered slight hairlines to undersides, largest measuring 3" L.

There are 32 9.75ins dinner plates all with wear to gilding on edges 3 large shallow chips to the edges. 12 x 9.75ins soup dishes all with some wear to gilding on rims. 9 x 8ins shallow bowls some with wear to gilding on rims basically good. 14 x 8.25ins fish plates all with wear to gilding mostly on edges. 1 has shallow chip to back of edge another has a star crack in centre of plate last discoloured restoration to back. 14 x 6ihns side plates some with wear to gilding on edges otherwise good.
