Vintage c1950 Flowers in Star Quilt measures 71x86''. Comprised of 25 complete 6 pointed stars measuring 16.5'' across, they are staggered 3x5, with partial stars along top and bottom. There is a 2.5'' pink outer border. Each star shape has a yellow hexagon center surrounded by 6 pentagon points. Each point has a sweet flower in the center. They are set together with pink diamond shapes. It is hand a machine pieced, hand appliqued, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style with a facing on the back. It is in very good condition with just a few small spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! A PAIR OF REGENCY SHERATON STYLE GREEN PAINTED WOOD ARM...A PAIR OF REGENCY SHERATON STYLE GREEN PAINTED WOOD ARMCHAIRS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each painted with trompe l'oeil lancets and spades, sweet flower blooms, block rosettes, tapering pearl strands, and leg fluting throughout, the tablet crest rail with block ends over an arcaded band and "X" form lattice pierced splat, flanked by ring turned tapered stiles issuing sweeping arms to rounded hand terminals on ring turned baluster form standards, above an oval seat and wide seat rail, raised on turned tapered legs ending on toupie feet, with later silk upholstery and brocade trim.
