The arched hood covers the two-train movement, fronted with a silvered ring dial highlighted with gilt foliate motifs showing "The Brooks Household Art Co. - Cleveland O." under center, with a second-hand subsidiary dial and moon phase above. The finely detailed case with columnar pilasters around the glazed long door at the waist showing the two weights and cylindrical pendulum, the rectangular base capped with urn form finials at each corner, a figural frieze panel front and center, all on scrolling feet. The carved oak case possibly by R. J. Horner & Co., New York or Tobey Furniture Co., Chicago. Gilt foliate dial plaque marked "The Brooks Household Art Co. - Cleveland O." 95 x 26 1/2 x 19 1/4 in.
