Set four silver plated candlesticks:Set four silver plated candlesticks: rounded square tapering columns, gadroon borders, weighted bases, no monogram, Ellis-Baker Silver Co., Birmingham, England, late 19th/early 20th century, 12-1/2 in. Loss to plate, dents in bases with loss, scratches. From the Estate of the Late Harold K. Bennett, Asheville, North Carolina, purchased from the Estate of the Late William Hudson, Asheville, North Carolina. According to consignors, items have descended from the Roman family of New Orleans. Andre Bienvenu Roman was twice antebellum governor of Louisiana.
