Multiple chips inside rim, loss to snake handle. Includes ca 1900 photo with notation on back: "Kamfie thought this old piece of glazed stoneware was our oldest piece of china", & a second note giving lineage from 1709: "Celia and Isiah Wilder: Lydia Stoddard: Hannah Bates: Mary Annie Bates: Katherine Parker Shore, sister of Mary Parker Dunning." This belonged to the author of "Mrs. Marco Polo Remembers" by Mary Parker Dunning, Houghton Mifflin Co., Boston, 1968.
