A Hepplewhite Style Serving Table The diminutive server with a single drawer, two oval hinged brass pulls, diamond shape ivory inlay escutcheon, squared tapered legs, contrasting color edge around the top and inlay banding around the bottom of the apron. Walnut and other secondary woods. Dovetailed drawer. Aged green felt lining inside drawer. Measures approx. 35-1/2"W x 16-3/4"D x 30"H. There is an undated bill of sale copy inside the drawer dating the piece ca. 1790's, from a Gates Mills, Ohio dealer; the price at that time was $1,000.
