McCarthey Maysville, KY" and hand brushed "3" denoting gallon capacity. Cobalt bands and sine wave decoration in addition to flowering tulip design bordered by an undulating foliate vine. Cobalt border bands at base of the rim, three bands of sine waves flank the gallon capacity marking, incised lines around midsection of jar brushed with cobalt, lug handles with cobalt accents. Condition:
Overall very good condition with an inside firing separation extending from rim edge to the inside center of the jar (stable). This flaw does not extend to the outside decorated side of the jar. Blacklighting does not indicate any restoration.
