The other porcelain plaque is painted after a work by by Charles Landelle (French, 1821-1908), depicting the Old Testament Biblical figure Ruth in a field of corn. She is dressed simply in a grey dress, white headwrap, and carrying a wheat sheaf under her arm. She holds the viewers gaze, and stands before a sunset.
