"Crate in Ocean" Lidded Sardine Box by Wedgwood, with 1879 English registry mark on base, rectangular shape with molded and glazed decoration of a crate wrapped with a pink rope and surrounded by ocean waves festooned with seaweed and shells, turquoise glazed interior, base impressed "Wedgwood", 3 1/2" high, 8 1/4" x 7 1/4". Small top edge flake, base stains.
