Taken from the tag affixed to the reverse: "This original master 'background' and 'cel' painting from the Walt Disney Studios was used in the filming of BAMBI. Only one background is made for each scene, consequently this is the only one of its kind in existence. Copyright - All Rights Reserved, WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS". The mat sight measures 7 1/2" x 8 1/2", and the frame measures 14 5/8" x 15 3/4". Condition Not removed from the frame. There is significant damage to the cel animation layer, with rippling and bubbling to the lamination and flaking to the character paintings. However, the background painting remains intact in what appears to be very good condition.
