(4) Provenance: Estate of Ronald Sperling Literature: In 1927, Fulper accepted a commission to supply G.B. Raffetto, Inc., NY, with bespoke honey jars. Jars from this commission are often impressed Rafco. Though the present example is unmarked, the production techniques are highly characteristic of this 'jobber'. It is perhaps a prototype.

The urn is in very good condition with a small amount of gilding loss and no visible chips or repairs. The plinth shows cracking and the paint is chipping.
