HANNAH ARKELL'S FRAMED PICTORIAL NEEDLEWORK DATED 1786, ENGLISH Worked in multi-color silk threads on linen ground, with a single row of upper case alphabet with date 1786 above a single numeric row above maker's name, with verse and a very folky depiction of a house atop a hillock and with a variety of animals to include a rooster, stag, and birds, with a finely worked tree and with floral bouquets to upper corners and with a floral vine to the sides, conservation mounted and presented in a gilt frame.
