Model 1808 Contract Jenks Flintlock Musket .69 caliber 44.625'' round barrel marked on top of barrel in an oval at breech P TW. Lockplate marked Jenks RI 1812 at the rear of plate; under the pan is an eagle with US in the talons. Flat-style lockplate with rounded pan flat hammer. Walnut stock with three barrel bands. Condition: All metal has been lightly cleaned to bright with some light staining and pitting. There is some pitting around the touch hole. Stock is excellent. Very sharp and crisp musket.

Model 1861 Contract Rifled-Musket by Trenton .58 cal. 40'' round barrel. Dated 1864 on the top flat of barrel V P and eagle and NJ markings. Lockplate marked with an eagle between the hammer an percussion bolster. U.S. Trenton on the forward part of the lockplate. Three barrel bands and walnut stock. Condition: All metal parts have been cleaned to bright. All markings and lines are very sharp and crisp. Three-leaf rear barrel sight retains all of the original blue finish. Stock is dark with nice opened-grained look and an excellent cartouche.

L.; Lock plate made by Ketland & Co., marked in script and further stamped "UNITED STATES" in two straight lines; originally flintlock, converted to percussion, c. 1830; curly maple three-quarter stock with Roman nose-shaped butt and small carved cheek rest, with brass trigger guard and butt plate; ramrod; 50 3/4" overall.

M1861 AMOSKEAG CONTRACT RIFLE MUSKET .58Civil War era contract rifle, Model 1861 made by Amoskeag Mfg. Co., Manchester N.H. The Springfield Model 1861 was primarily produced by the U.S. government armories at Springfield and Harpers Ferry, Amoskeag was one of several private contractors who manufactured the rifle. Rifle features; Right lock plate is marked with an eagle between the letters "U" and "S" and the words "Amoskeag Mfg Co/Manchester NH" with "1863" behind the hammer. Left side of barrel marked "W" under "VP" oved firing proofs. "1863" visible on top of barrel next to nipple. right barrel flat is marked "A.M.C." in front of the bolster. Stamped "U" on each of the three barrel bands. Butt plate tang marked "U*S / 17 / W", "33" on butt plate. Barrelapprox. 40", overall 55 3/4". Tulip shaped ramrod is present. Rifle has age appropriate wear with discoloration and oxidation to the finish. Stock is typical wear with small scratches and dents, no cracks. Hammer pulls back but does not hold, actiorequires repair. Missing rear sight. Bead front sight. See images for more details on condition. This item can be shipped in-house.

Traces of inspector cartouche on left side of stock. Walnut stocks, combination iron and brass mounted, round barrel. Standard sights. Barrel length - 42". Overall length - 57 1/4". Condition:
Musket converted to percussion. Excellent mechanics . "Nipple" is battered. Metal appears to have old coat of varnish. Metal has light to medium pitting overall. Stock is quite sound and has excellent patina. Small pointed oblong plate on top of the wrist marked "Souvenir".
