Frame and barrel retain better than 50% of their bluing virtually no bluing remains on the cylider but it has a slightly mottled patina refinished grips a few nicks and dings action smooth bore fairly clean.

Condition: Barrel is smooth brown patina with some pitting around the percussion nipple and bolster. Lock and hammer are smooth brown with sharp lines. Brass has nice untouched patina. Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings.

Condition: Barrel ramrod stock has been shortened at some time in its life. Barrel is a dark brown with pitting around the percussion bolster and breech. Lock is smooth an dark brown. Hammer has pitting around the face. Brass has nice untouched patina. Stock has some nicks and dings.

The bayonet is marked by S. PRESTON of Manchester. The usual Confederate import markings are not present.
