TOWER ENFIELD RIFLED MUSKET.Civil War Era 58 caliber 39'' round barrel 3 barrel band flip up long range rear sight brass end cap butt and trigger guard. Stamped Tower 1862 a Crown V.R. on lockplate. Bore is clean with good rifling strong action. Metal is steel colored and shiny. 3 proofmarks and 25 on left side of barrel. Small crown and letter on top of barrel just in front of hammer. Steel ramrod old dings in dark patina wood. L.S.M. stamped into lower tang on wrist. Tiny piece of metal imbeded in stock left side.

TOWER PERCUSSION RIFLE. Enfield-type marked 1863 Tower on lock plate .577 caliber 31'' round barrel brass trigger guard and butt plate varnished wood stock. Bore is clean with good groves strong hammer action broken nipple. 3 small stamps and 25 25 on barrel. Barrel has brown-steel patina. Stock has dings and scratches refinished. Missing one lower tang screw and sling mount.
