  Model 1888 Springfield Trapdoor Ramrod Bayonet Rifle .45-70 caliber 32.5" barrel with large V P eagle S/N 556817. Buffington rear barrel sight.? Walnut stock. Condition: Barrel action and lock have a nice uniform brown patina. Bore is good and should clean to excellent. Stock is dark with some nicks and dings. Has a readable SWP1892 cartouche and a nice circle "P" proof mark.
